SSEN's Danielle Arthur is swapping her hi-viz, hard hat and steel toe-caps for a more leisurely tartan skirt and trainers this weekend as she steps out on a 26-mile Virtual Kiltwalk around Stonehaven to raise funds for NSPCC Scotland.
Following a full and inclusive recruitment process, SSE has appointed Chris Burchell as the new Managing Director for its electricity distribution business, SSEN Distribution. He will succeed Colin Nicol who, earlier this year, announced his intention to leave SSE in April 2021.
The electricity network serving homes and businesses in the north-east of Scotland will receive a £1.9 million upgrade, as Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks delivers two major investment projects in Elgin and Macduff.

SSEN engineers started work this month between Cassley and Rhiconich to upgrade and strengthen the local electricity network serving around 900 properties in Durness, Rhiconich, Kinlochbervie, Scourie, Kylesku, Achfary and Overscaig.
