SSEN launches online community for customers

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) has launched an online community to enable its customers to chat with one another, share experiences, thoughts and ideas and engage in lively debate about SSEN’s services.

SSEN aims to put its customers at the heart of all it does, and its recognition of customers’ views has led to the creation of this new online platform to find out more about what matters to customers and how excellent service can be delivered in return.

The SSEN community forms part of its wider stakeholder engagement activity, working closely with a range of stakeholders to help achieve goals by providing external insight, keeping a finger on the pulse of emerging issues within the industry, and ensuring those who use SSEN’s network and services have an opportunity to put their views to the business to inform its operations and plans.

Customers across the north of Scotland and central southern England are now invited to join SSEN’s online community and take part in a series of polls, discussions and surveys. The online community will help SSEN to gather feedback and prompt discussion on a range of topics that matter to customers and will help to shape services and identify ways to make improvements.

Lisa Doogan, Director of Customer Relationship Management for SSEN said: “We are truly committed to putting our customers at the heart of everything we do, and by this, I mean always looking to improve the service we provide.

“We want to make it easier for customers to access the information they’re looking for.

“We recognise we live in an ever-increasing, digital world and not everyone wants to call us, so we’re setting up other platforms – such as the online community – so customers can give feedback at any time of day, at a time that suits them.”

Registering is easy, simply click here and fill out the short registration form.  There’s a monthly prize draw too where customers can win vouchers for their participation.

In addition to the online community, SSEN conducts a range of different stakeholder engagement activities. To find out more, please visit our website:
